The Ultimate Protein Experience: Review

I go to the gym 3 times a week (45 minute sessions) and I practice pole dancing, where strength is fundamental. However, I never though protein supplements would make such a huge difference! I’ve been trying the SCI-MIX Pro2Go and I couldn’t be more surprised with the results! Not only because I feel much stronger but also because my muscles’ definition has increased a lot.

In this post, I’m going to share with you my experience with 5 of the protein snacks and a milkshake and I’ll try to give you all the information that I’ve got about them 🙂

The products

The snacks are simply delicious. You can see in the picture below how tempting the choices are:

I think my favorite was the Sci-Mx Nutrition PRO2GO Protein Brownie, because brownies per se, are my favorite type of sweets 😀 It’s got choc-chips and a delicious texture. Amazing when heated in the microwave for about 10 seconds or cold.

The Strawberry Cheesecake Oatbake and the Cookies And Cream Oatbake is also delicious, with a delicious cheesecake flavor mixed with the oats texture…yummy…

The cookies are the flagship product: they taste as any choc chips cookies that you can get from Starbucks or Costa but they have half of the calories and are really filling. Talking about that, let’s take a look at the nutritional information!

 

Calories, fat and sugars

The best thing about all these products, including the Strawberry milkshake (which taste and texture are fresh, soft and sweet) is that they contain about 200 calories each: this is the appropriate amount of calories that a healthy snack should have!

In addition, they are low in fat and sugars so they are mainly a source of proteins. The best part is that you feel really full when you eat any of them, so they are perfect to take them out with you or…

 

How to take them

The good thing about these products is that you can take them with you every where and eat them before or after your workout. I actually ate some of them before and some others after, I don’t think that really matters. This is a picture of Madame Strawberry and White Chocolate Cookie:

If you don’t practice exercise very often (which, btw, you should try) or you simply don’t feel like you can eat anything at that time, I’ve been having a really yummy and quick to prepare breakfast these days:

Coffee and one of the snacks (I eat a piece of fruit a couple of hours later), it’s a good reason to get up in the morning! 😉

There are more flavors and types of snacks in this shop, such as the Caramel Crisp, which I’m going to try next (apart from ordering more Brownies and milkshake). Also the prices are really good and you can get packs of 12 (even mixed flavors) for about £15, which is £1.1 approx. per snack!
